The Cravat

Cravat scarf, Soir de Londres - Maquis

When I designed the cravat, the idea was to create an accessory with a casual, boyish air about it while at the same time, depending on the colour choice and with what it is worn with, could also be elegant and feminine.

The design was inspired by vintage images of cravat-styled scarves from as early as the 1920s to the bohemian look when it was reintroduced of the 1970s.

Initially, it was imagined worn like a loose neck tie, but together with Caroline, my model and ambassadrice, it was discovered there are many ways to wear it. With its classical design, it can be worn equally with a dress or with jeans. In addition, the wearer can make adaptions: tied up to the side of the neck or down loose on the chest -- inside a jacket, or outside a shirt.

Now the fun part, decide which cravat scarf best defines your character!
